Our shop is at 26015 W Warren St in Dearborn Heights, about a mile and a half past the Detroit city line. From Campus Martius it's under 25 minutes: I-96 west to Beech Daly, then south to Warren. From the west side, it's a straight drive down Warren.

Most Amazing Tint,Wrap/ Customization shop. Amazing service Ive took 3 of my cars there has been amazing. On my Escalade they did Full Ceramic Tint with Windshield, And On my Durango they have Done Taillight Tint/Lightbar Tint, Full Carbon Tint with Windshield. Would recommend to everyone in the are they are very respectful and have the best service. !!!!!

My story begins in December I went to Buff X to get my daughter a gift certificate for Christmas to Carbon Tint her windows I dealt with MJ He was absolutely amazing and super helpful fast forward to February my daughter gets the tinting done we dealt with Bailey She was Amazing also You both made this process so smooth and easy for us I appreciate both of you guys! Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Don’t be fooled by other companies, Buff X is the place to go.

Best shop in Michigan for custom work on your car! I take all of my vehicles to them for window tint, wraps, chrome delete, caliper wraps, and other stuff. Great customer service and they'll work with you on timing, options, etc. Sam and Abbas are the best, will always give them my business!

How far is Buff X from downtown Detroit?

Buff X Customization is at 26015 W Warren St in Dearborn Heights, under 25 minutes from Campus Martius by I-96 and Beech Daly. From Midtown it's about the same, from Rosedale Park about 14 minutes, and from Warrendale about 8 minutes straight down W Warren. Rush hour adds time.

Does a kill switch stop thieves who program a new key?

Yes. A programmed key only works if the car can start. The kill switches we install cut the ignition or the battery, so a copied key can't start the car until you turn the switch back on.

How much does a kill switch cost?

Our hidden button kill switch is $275, our remote battery disconnect is $400, and our remote ignition disconnect is $600. The remote ignition disconnect is the one most people pick. Every install is done the same day.

Does window tint stop car theft?

Not on its own. Tint won't stop someone who wants the whole car. What it does is hide what's inside, like bags, laptops, and tools, so your car is less tempting to break into. If theft is the worry, pair it with a kill switch.
