Terms of Service

These terms cover Buff X Customization LLC (“Buff X”, “we”), a Michigan limited liability company, this website, www.buffxcustomization.com, and the work we do on your vehicle. By using the site, requesting a quote, or booking with us, you agree to them.

Quotes and pricing

Prices on this website are starting prices. Your final price depends on your vehicle’s year, make, and model, its condition, and the options you pick, and we confirm it with you before any work starts. Prices do not include sales tax or other fees that may apply. If a price on the site is listed wrong, we will correct it before we do the work.

We do not price match other shops’ quotes or prices.

Booking and appointments

When you book online, you pick from the times we have open, and we confirm the appointment by email and text. To reschedule or cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or call or text us at (313) 200-7007. Please let us know as early as you can so we can give the time to someone else.

Deposits and advance payments

Some jobs need a deposit to reserve your spot on our schedule, and some need an advance payment toward the cost of materials or parts. We will tell you up front if your job needs either.

• If you cancel, most deposits can be refunded, depending on the situation. Talk to us and we will work it out. If we cancel, we refund your deposit.
• An advance payment is refunded if either of us cancels before the work starts.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel any time before we start the work, with no cancellation fee (deposits are handled as described above). Once work has started or is finished, we do not offer refunds. If something is not right with the work, tell us and we will take care of it under our warranty. We may cancel a job for reasons such as suspected fraud, wrong information, or parts or materials that are not available, and we will tell you right away if we do.

Warranties

Many of our services come with a warranty. The warranty for each service is the one listed on that service’s page of this website or given to you in writing when we do the work. Warranties do not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or care that goes against the instructions we give you, or work done on the same area by another shop. Apart from the warranties we state, our services are provided as they are, to the extent the law allows.

Your vehicle

Please take valuables and personal items out of your vehicle before you drop it off. We will point out any existing damage we notice, but we are not responsible for damage or wear that was already there. Wraps and paint protection film need sound factory paint underneath: on paint that is chipped, peeling, or was repainted, film can lift, and taking it off later can pull loose paint with it.

Window tint and the law

Michigan law limits window tint on the windshield and front side windows. You choose the shade for each window, and you are responsible for following the tint laws where you live and drive.

Photos of our work

We may photograph or film the work we do on your vehicle and share it on our website and social media. If you would rather we did not, just tell us.

Calls and text messages

When you send us a request or book an appointment, we may call or text you about it. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and texts.

Using this website

Use this website only in ways that follow the law and these terms. You agree not to:

• pretend to be Buff X, our staff, or anyone else, or misstate who you are;
• send spam, ads, or other unwanted material through the site;
• use bots, scrapers, or any automated or manual process to copy or monitor the site;
• upload viruses or anything else harmful, or try to break into, overload, or disrupt the site or the systems behind it;
• use the site in any way that harms us or other visitors or keeps others from using it.

Website information

We work to keep this site accurate, but information, prices, and availability can change, and the site may sometimes have errors, be out of date, or be unavailable. The website is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. Links to other websites are there for your reference; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Buff X is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages connected with this website or your use of it. Our total liability connected with the website or any job will not be more than the amount you paid us for that job.

Our content

The logos, photos, videos, text, and design of this website belong to Buff X or the people who licensed them to us, and you may not copy or reuse them without our permission. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, email us at the address below with a description of your work, where it appears on our site, your contact information, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute about these terms, this website, or our work will be handled in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan. You and Buff X each agree to bring claims only individually, not as part of a class or representative action. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Using the site or booking with us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
