Most Amazing Tint,Wrap/ Customization shop. Amazing service Ive took 3 of my cars there has been amazing. On my Escalade they did Full Ceramic Tint with Windshield, And On my Durango they have Done Taillight Tint/Lightbar Tint, Full Carbon Tint with Windshield. My story begins in December I went to Buff X to get my daughter a gift certificate for Christmas to Carbon Tint her windows I dealt with MJ He was absolutely amazing and super helpful fast forward to February my daughter gets the tinting done we dealt with Bailey She was Amazing also You both made this process so smooth and easy for us I appreciate both of you guys! Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Satin film shows every flaw in the prep, so the wash and the bay matter even more than they do with clear film.

    Wash and decontaminate so nothing gets trapped under the film, where it would show through a satin surface.

What is stealth PPF?

Stealth PPF is satin paint protection film: the same thick, self-healing film as clear PPF, with a satin top coat instead of a gloss one. Yes. Stealth PPF is how a lot of drivers get a satin look without a respray. On gloss paint Buff X does the full vehicle so every panel matches, and the gloss paint is untouched underneath when the film comes off.

Does stealth PPF protect as well as clear PPF?

Yes. Stealth PPF from Buff X is the same Hexis Defense protection film with a satin top coat, so it stops the same rock chips, sand, and road salt and self-heals light marks the same way.

How do I wash a car with stealth PPF?

Wash a car with stealth PPF by hand, with a pH-neutral soap and a clean microfiber, and never wax or polish it: wax and polish add gloss and fill in the satin texture. Skip brush car washes, since the brushes leave marks the finish cannot hide. Get bird poop and bugs off sooner rather than later, and a warm day heals most light wash swirls on its own.

What film does Buff X use for stealth PPF?

Buff X installs Hexis Defense stealth film: self-healing, ceramic coated, with a satin top coat. If you want a specific brand of film, ask when you get your quote and we can install that instead.

How long does stealth PPF last?

Stealth PPF from Buff X lasts five to ten years, depending on how the car is driven and washed.
