Most Amazing Tint,Wrap/ Customization shop. Amazing service Ive took 3 of my cars there has been amazing. On my Escalade they did Full Ceramic Tint with Windshield, And On my Durango they have Done Taillight Tint/Lightbar Tint, Full Carbon Tint with Windshield. Would recommend to everyone in the are they are very respectful and have the best service. !!!!!

My story begins in December I went to Buff X to get my daughter a gift certificate for Christmas to Carbon Tint her windows I dealt with MJ He was absolutely amazing and super helpful fast forward to February my daughter gets the tinting done we dealt with Bailey She was Amazing also You both made this process so smooth and easy for us I appreciate both of you guys! Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Don’t be fooled by other companies, Buff X is the place to go.

Best shop in Michigan for custom work on your car! I take all of my vehicles to them for window tint, wraps, chrome delete, caliper wraps, and other stuff. Great customer service and they'll work with you on timing, options, etc. Sam and Abbas are the best, will always give them my business!

How a Custom Interior Comes Together

  1. Consultation

    We go over materials, colors, and any other custom work with you to make sure it comes out exactly how you want it.

  2. Remove

    Seats, panels, and trim come out of the car and get labeled so everything goes back where it came from.

  3. Build

    Pieces are re-trimmed, wrapped, stitched, and wired, matched to the plan.

  4. Final Inspection and Pickup

    Everything goes back in, every function gets tested, and we walk you through the new interior when you pick it up.

Leather, Alcantara, or Suede: Which Should I Pick?

Leather for seats that last, Alcantara for grip on the steering wheel, and suede for the look of Alcantara at a lower cost. Many builds mix them: leather on the seats, Alcantara on the wheel.

A custom car interior swaps the factory seats, wheel, and trim for materials and colors you choose. At Buff X Customization in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, all of our upholstery is done in-house, so your seats, steering wheel, dash trim, headliner, and lighting are planned and built by one team under one roof. How much does a custom interior cost?

Custom interiors at Buff X are quoted per build after a consultation. A steering wheel re-trim is a small job and a full cabin in new leather is a big one, so the price depends on the scope, materials, seat count, and design. We offer financing.

Can you do just the seats or just the steering wheel?

Yes. Buff X Customization redoes single pieces, like just the seats or just the steering wheel, at our Dearborn Heights shop. Many custom interiors start with one piece and add more later in matching materials.

Do you repair car upholstery too?

Yes. Buff X does upholstery repairs in-house at our Dearborn Heights shop, like a torn seat or a worn bolster. Custom work is what we specialize in, so if a repair turns into something bigger, we can plan the rest in matching materials.

Will reupholstered seats still have working airbags and heating?

Yes. When Buff X reupholsters seats, the side airbags, heating, and power controls keep working, and every function is tested before the car goes back to you. Tell us what your seats have at the consultation.

Do you do starlight headliners as part of an interior?

Yes. Buff X Customization installs starlight headliners on their own or as part of a custom interior. Starlight packages start at $950 for 500 stars, with the app and remote included.

How long does a custom interior take?

A custom interior at Buff X usually takes around two weeks, depending on the full scope of work. A single piece, like a steering wheel, is a shorter job than a full cabin.
