This policy covers Buff X Customization LLC (“Buff X”, “we”) and this website, www.buffxcustomization.com. It explains what we collect when you use the site or contact the shop, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you send the quote form, call, or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address if you add one, the vehicle and service you ask about, and anything you write in the message. When you book or pay for work, we also keep the details of that job and, through our payment processor, the payment record. We do not see or store full card numbers.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your request, send you a quote, schedule and perform the work, send appointment confirmations and pickup notices, and answer questions about a job. We also use it to keep our own customer records so a returning customer does not have to start from scratch.

Calls and text messages

By checking the consent box on our contact form, or by sending a quote request or booking where the page says so, and giving us your phone number, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Buff X about your request and any work we do for you: quotes, follow-up questions, appointment confirmations, reminders, and notices that your vehicle is ready. Message frequency varies with your job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email and we will stop. Consent to texting is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only with the service providers that run our business for us: our website host, the customer management and scheduling system the shop uses, our email delivery service, and our payment processor. Each of them handles your information only to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

The site works without you accepting any cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and which ones lead to quote requests, bookings, and calls. It sets its own cookies and is governed by Google’s policies; you can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on. We may also use advertising measurement tools to see whether our ads work. You can block cookies in your browser at any time.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site does not change what it does when it receives one.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, such as our social media pages and Google reviews. We do not control those sites, and their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them to support the work we did, honor warranties, and meet our tax and legal obligations. Quote requests that never turn into a job are kept so we can answer if you come back later; ask us and we will delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can opt out of texts at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is for adults arranging vehicle services. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
