Most Amazing Tint,Wrap/ Customization shop. Amazing service Ive took 3 of my cars there has been amazing. On my Escalade they did Full Ceramic Tint with Windshield, And On my Durango they have Done Taillight Tint/Lightbar Tint, Full Carbon Tint with Windshield. My story begins in December I went to Buff X to get my daughter a gift certificate for Christmas to Carbon Tint her windows I dealt with MJ He was absolutely amazing and super helpful fast forward to February my daughter gets the tinting done we dealt with Bailey She was Amazing also You both made this process so smooth and easy for us I appreciate both of you guys! Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Don’t be fooled by other companies, Buff X is the place to go.

Best shop in Michigan for custom work on your car! I take all of my vehicles to them for window tint, wraps, chrome delete, caliper wraps, and other stuff. Great customer service and they'll work with you on timing, options, etc. Sam and Abbas are the best, will always give them my business!

How We Install a Starlight Headliner

The stars are the easy part. The work is getting the headliner out and back in clean.

  1. Plan

    Pick the star count, the color, and where you want the sky densest. We check the vehicle for how the headliner comes out.

  2. Remove

    Pillars, lights, and handles come off and the headliner comes out of the car in one piece.

  3. Thread

    Fibers are threaded through the headliner one at a time and trimmed flush, then routed to the light engine.

  4. Refit

    Headliner goes back in, wiring is tucked, every star is checked, and you get the remote and the app at pickup.

How many stars do I need?

For most cars, Buff X recommends 1,000 stars (from $1,250): it fills the headliner so it looks like a real night sky instead of a scatter of lights. 500 or 850 stars suit a smaller ceiling or a subtler look, and 1,500 stars is for big ceilings like three-row SUVs, or for drivers who want it packed.

Will a starlight headliner damage my headliner?

No, a Buff X starlight headliner does not damage your headliner. The fibers go through your original headliner and it goes back in the way it came out. When the lights are off, the interior looks stock.

Can you do a starlight headliner in any vehicle?

Yes, Buff X installs starlight headliners in any vehicle: coupes, sedans, SUVs, trucks, and vans.

Can I change the color?

Yes. Every Buff X starlight headliner comes with an app and a remote that set the color and the brightness, so the same ceiling can be white one night and blue the next. Add twinkle motors ($200) and the stars shimmer too.

How long does the install take?
