I had an amazing experience getting my Corvette tinted, all thanks to Abbas. From start to finish, he made the whole process smooth and stress free. He took the time to explain all my options, helped me pick the perfect tint, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Most Amazing Tint,Wrap/ Customization shop. Amazing service Ive took 3 of my cars there has been amazing. On my Escalade they did Full Ceramic Tint with Windshield, And On my Durango they have Done Taillight Tint/Lightbar Tint, Full Carbon Tint with Windshield. Would recommend to everyone in the are they are very respectful and have the best service. !!!!!

My story begins in December I went to Buff X to get my daughter a gift certificate for Christmas to Carbon Tint her windows I dealt with MJ He was absolutely amazing and super helpful fast forward to February my daughter gets the tinting done we dealt with Bailey She was Amazing also You both made this process so smooth and easy for us I appreciate both of you guys! Her Blazer looks absolutely amazing with the tint!! We will be back 😆

Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Don’t be fooled by other companies, Buff X is the place to go.

Best shop in Michigan for custom work on your car! I take all of my vehicles to them for window tint, wraps, chrome delete, caliper wraps, and other stuff. Great customer service and they'll work with you on timing, options, etc. Sam and Abbas are the best, will always give them my business!

One Shop for the Whole Build

Buff X Customization handles custom car builds for drivers across Metro Detroit, out of our shop at 26015 W Warren St in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We've been customizing cars for nearly a decade, since starting out in a two-car garage in 2018, and have worked on more than 5,000 cars since, so a build here can be one job or a whole plan across several services. The cars we're known for are widebody Jeeps, Durangos, Chargers, the Lamborghini Urus, and full custom interiors.

Common requests include fiber optic starlight headliners, hidden kill switches, body kit installation with the kit test-fit before anything is drilled, chrome deletes, and caliper painting in any color. Everything else, from accent wraps and lighting to 1 of 1 builds, starts with a consult: we look at the car, talk through what you want, and come back with a plan and a price. Financing is available on jobs over $1,000.

How much does a custom car build cost?

A custom car build at Buff X Customization is quoted per build after a consult, because the price depends on the scope, the parts, and the vehicle. Some jobs, like starlight headliners and caliper painting, have starting prices on their own pages. Financing is available on jobs over $1,000.

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. Bring the car and a rough idea, a photo, or a screenshot to Buff X, and the consult is where it turns into a plan for your custom build.

Can a custom build be done in stages?

Yes. Buff X can stage a custom build over a few visits so your car is not gone for weeks. The plan sequences the work so nothing has to be redone.

What doesn't Buff X do on a custom build?

Buff X Customization does not do audio or mechanical work. If your build needs either, we tell you at the consult so you can line it up separately.

Can I bring my own parts for a custom build?

Usually, yes. Tell Buff X what you have at the consult and we check that it fits the vehicle and the plan before anything is scheduled.
