Custom Brake
Caliper Painting in
Dearborn Heights,
Michigan

  • All colors available
  • Starting at $95 per caliper
  • Gives your car that extra pop
  • Made to handle brake heat

Small detail, big pop behind every wheel:

  • Prep is the whole job: Brake dust and grease are baked on. Degreasing and scuffing every surface is what makes the paint stay.
  • High-temperature paint: Caliper paint is made for brake heat. Regular spray paint browns and peels in a summer.
  • Wheels off, brakes masked: Rotors, pads, and lines are masked so the color lands on the caliper and nowhere else.
  • Bundle and save with other services: Pair your calipers with a detail, window tint, or a wrap and save on the total.
  • Done the same day: Drop the car off and drive home with fresh color behind every wheel the same day.

I had an amazing experience getting my Corvette tinted, all thanks to Abbas. From start to finish, he made the whole process smooth and stress free. He took the time to explain all my options, helped me pick the perfect tint, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. What really stood out was his customer service, professional, patient, and genuinely caring about the final result. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the quality. If you're thinking about getting tints or any similar work done, I highly recommend Buff X. Ask for Abbas, you won't be disappointed!

Not going to lie, I was hesitant to do the wide body kit on my trackhawk, however Sam and his team knocked it out of the park, they delivered when they said they would and wow my track hawk turned heads on the way home (a guy in a mustang almost rear ended a car staring at it. Don’t be fooled by other companies, Buff X is the place to go.

Brake caliper painting means coating the calipers behind your wheels in high-temperature paint, and it is one of the quickest ways to make any car look custom. Buff X Customization does it in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Our crew pulls the wheels, strips off the baked-on brake dust and grease, scuffs every surface, and masks the rotors, pads, and brake lines so the color lands on the caliper and nowhere else. Then several coats go on, so the color stays bright instead of browning and peeling like paint from a spray can.

Caliper painting starts at $95 per caliper, and the size of the caliper and the color you pick set the exact price. Any color works, from classic red and yellow to a shade that matches your paint. Most cars go home the same day, and you save when you bundle it with a detail, window tint, or a wrap. The shop is at 26015 W Warren St, a few minutes from Dearborn, Livonia, and Westland.

Caliper Painting FAQs

How much does caliper painting cost?

Caliper painting at Buff X Customization starts at $95 per caliper, in any color. The size of the caliper and the color you pick set the exact price. Send us the vehicle and the color and we come back with the total for the set.

How long does caliper painting take?

Most cars get their calipers painted the same day at Buff X Customization. The wheels come off, the calipers are prepped, masked, and painted, and the wheels go back on before you pick it up.

Do you paint the calipers on the car or take them off?

At Buff X Customization the wheels come off and the calipers stay mounted on the car. The rotors, pads, and brake lines are masked so the paint lands only on the caliper.

Will painted calipers hold up to brake heat?

Yes. Buff X Customization uses high-temperature caliper paint over a degreased and scuffed surface, so painted calipers hold their color through brake heat. Regular spray paint is what browns and peels.

Can I bundle caliper painting with other services?

Yes. Add caliper painting to a detail, window tint, a wrap, or any other service at Buff X Customization and you save on the total.

What colors can I choose?

Caliper painting at Buff X Customization comes in any color: red, yellow, orange, black, gunmetal, or a shade that matches or contrasts with your car's paint.

Caliper painting pairs with a detailing package, and the wheels look best behind ceramic coated paint. It is a common line item in a custom build. We paint calipers for drivers from Dearborn, Livonia, Westland, Canton, Taylor, and the rest of the areas we serve, all from our window tinting, PPF, and car customization shop in Dearborn Heights.
