Guys did a great job on my full wrap, calipers and window tint. Easiest 5 stars I've ever given. Great prices too. Sent me pics along the way so I knew how it was progressing.

One product, one starting price. Bigger windshields and steep rakes can run more, so every job gets an exact quote.

Starting at $499
Add it to any PPF package or on its own
This package includes:
Pairs with any paint protection film package. Financing is available on jobs over $1,000.

Glass, not paint
Windshield film goes on like PPF, with more care around the wiper sweep and the edge of the glass.
The glass is cleaned and clayed so nothing sits between the film and the windshield.
Film is cut to the exact windshield so the edge lands under the trim where it can.
Laid in one piece and squeegeed out from the center in the climate-controlled bay.
Checked across the wiper sweep and at the edges, then a care walkthrough before pickup.
If the car has a camera or sensors behind the windshield, yes. Replacing that glass means a new windshield plus a recalibration, and the film costs a fraction of it. On an older car with a plain windshield the math is closer, and it comes down to how much freeway gravel you drive through.
I-94, I-96, and M-39 throw rocks all spring. The film takes them.
Lane cameras and rain sensors live on the glass. The windshield is the expensive part now.
The front end is protected; the windshield is the last unprotected surface facing the road.
A chipped windshield at turn-in is a charge. Film avoids it.

Buff X Customization installs windshield protection film in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, for drivers across Metro Detroit. Windshield protection film is an optically clear, impact-absorbing film applied to the outside of the glass. When a rock hits, the film spreads the impact so the windshield does not chip or star, which matters on Michigan freeways where gravel and winter road grit chip windshields every spring. The film has no tint and no distortion, wipers run over it normally, and it is replaceable: if a big enough rock damages the film, the film comes off and a new one goes on instead of a new windshield. That is the whole case for it, because a modern windshield with a camera and sensors mounted behind it is an expensive piece of glass to replace and recalibrate. Windshield film starts at $499 and can be added to any paint protection film package or installed on its own.

No. The film is optically clear with no tint and no distortion. Wipers run over it normally.
It stops the chips and star cracks that everyday road grit and gravel cause. A big enough rock can still damage the film, and when that happens the film is replaced, not the windshield.
The film is clear and goes on the outside of the glass. If your car has a camera or sensors on the windshield, tell us when you book and we go over it for your vehicle.
It depends on how many rocks it takes. Film that is not damaged lasts years; film that takes a major hit gets replaced. Hand wash and keep ice scrapers off it in winter.
No. Tint goes on the inside of the glass to block heat and light. Windshield protection film is clear and goes on the outside to stop chips. Both can be on the same car.
Windshield film is usually added to a paint protection film package, and pairs with window tinting on the side glass. We install it for drivers from Dearborn, Livonia, Westland, Canton, Taylor, and the rest of the areas we serve, all from our window tinting, PPF, and car customization shop in Dearborn Heights.
Tell us the car and whether you want the film on its own or with a PPF package. We'll come back with an exact price and the soonest opening.
